The console version of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood made its way into stores back in November last year while PC owners were asked to wait in anticipation for the game to arrive for Microsoft Windows. Earlier this month, we reported that this version would unleash into the gaming terrain next month. Now Ubisoft has divulged various details as well as the exact shipping date for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood on PC.
The acclaimed game is slated to unfurl across retail stores and can also be digitally downloaded in four various editions namely Standard edition, Codex Edition, Special Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition. The first option as well as all the other three comes packed with a copy of the game, The Da Vinci Disappearance and Abstergo Project Update 1.0 and 2.0. The former can be availed through both the retail as well as the digital versions.
The Codex version is looked upon as a Limited and Exclusive Collector’s Edition that comes with a detailed Renaissance style chest. The other contents include the Original Codex written by the hand of Altaïr, Multiplayer Characters Collectible Cards, a detailed map of Rome and Assassin’s Creed Lineage DVD. There is also an exclusive Bonus DVD that comprises of the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood original soundtrack and galleries among other goodies as well as exclusive unlockable content.
The Special Edition can be found bundled in an exclusive Cold Foil Packaging and housing exclusive unlockable content such as one multiplayer character and one exclusive single player indoor map. The final edition namely the Digital Deluxe comprises of Assassin’s Creed Lineage which is a short movie of three episodes, exclusive additional content including the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood original soundtrack, Making-of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and galleries. This offering also comes complete with exclusive unlockable content such as multiplayer characters, single-player maps and Ezio ‘Drachen Armor’.
Coming to the technical specifications of the PC version, the minimum configuration calls for AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4GHZ or Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHZ and ATI Radeon X1950 256 MB or Nvidia 7900 256 MB. The recommended configuration revealed by the company is AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or better or Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.6 GHz and ATI Radeon HD 4700 or better or GeForce 8800 GT.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood on the PC is slated to release on March 18, 2011. The Codex and Deluxe Digital Editions bear starting prices of 49.99 Euros (approx Rs. 3,135) each.
