Shoot Many Robots coming to PSN, Xbox 360 and Windows PC in 2012

In what the makers believe is an attempt to ‘stop the robot apocalypse’, Shoot Many Robots will be arriving in 2012 for the PSN, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms. Ubisoft and Demiurge Studios announced a couple of days back, that the extreme robot carnage is all set to excite gamers next year, as part of their joint partnership.

The upcoming title will have gamers following P.Walter Tugnut as he sets out on his mission to destroy as many robots as he can. Why? Well, there’s a factory, it appears that has started ominously producing killer robots. An RV loaded with guns and beer is the handy accompaniment for gamers all through.

“Ubisoft is excited to be working with Demiurge Studios on the release of Shoot Many Robots,” mentioned Adam Novickas, Director of Marketing at Ubisoft. “Ubisoft is focused on providing players with a strong and diverse portfolio of digital titles, and Demiurge is set to bring another amazing game to the digital space with Shoot Many Robots.”

Offering players an opportunity to indulge in four-player co-op, this run-n-gun side-scrolling RPG shooter is packed to the gills with item and weapon customization options. The two game modes included in Shoot Many Robots are Traversal and Survival. While the former requires players to linearly move through a level, the latter will put them against robot hordes. All this and more is what’s likely to add to the robotic carnage.

Shoot Many Robots is slated to be showcased at PAX Prime from August 26-28, 2011. Enthusiastic gamers can also view a video of the title by hitting up the official game.
