March 20, 2012 is the official date on which Ninja Gaiden 3 will be outed for the PS3 and Xbox 360, announced publisher Tecmo Koei America. A Collector’s Edition of the game, which includes access to a demo stage of Dead or Alive 5, is also slated to go on sale along with the standard version.
A sequel to Ninja Gaiden 2, this action-adventure revolves around the life of protagonist Ryu, who is the leader of the Hayabusa clan which is said to possess spiritual, physical and magical ties to ancient dragons. This game supposedly looks to bring about a new experience for gamers by dwelling into the human side of Ryu. The close combat elements in this title will also be playable through the new competitive and co-op online multiplayer modes.

Gamers who pre-order this title from GameStop or Amazon will receive a special downloadable two-character demo stage of Dead or Alive 5, which is scheduled for a 2012 release. Moreover, those who purchase the Collector’s Edition of this game will be greeted with a four-character demo of DOA 5, apart from an exclusive Ninja Gaiden 3 ‘Unmask’ game art book, a soundtrack CD and a ‘Duel of the Masked’ figure. This version will however be made available only through GameStop and EB Games.
Ninja Gaiden 3 can now be pre-ordered through the above mentioned retailers at a price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,175). Its Collector’s Edition bundle will be made available at 99.99 USD (approx. Rs. 5,292).
