L.A. Noire has been making enough noise right before it arrived into the domain. Following its release, there were issues reported about the overheating and freezing of PS3 and Xbox 360 systems while playing. Later, Rockstar Games unleashed the title update 1.00 to fix some in-game issues. The publisher in collaboration with developer Team Bondi has now uncovered the list of L.A. Noire DLC packs lined up for the title.
Launched today, the Badge Pursuit Challenge and the Sharpshooter/Broderick detective suits are available for purchase. Gamers also have the opportunity to unravel newly included ‘The Naked City’ and ‘A Slip of the Tongue’ DLC cases. Later in the month, one more case in the form of ‘Nicholson Electroplating’ downloadable content will be released for the title. In addition, the ‘Reefer Madness’ Vice case has been scheduled to come ashore next month.
“With its blend of real crime influences and noir atmosphere, L.A. Noire contains boundless potential for new stories and new cases,” explained Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “The four new cases are strong standalone stories that sit perfectly alongside the main game.”
Introducing the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass, the companies have crafted a pocket-friendly way of accessing all seven add-ons of the game. This pass avails players to obtain the aforesaid seven DLC items at a limited-time price of 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 448) and 800 Microsoft Points from the PSN and Xbox Live, respectively. Besides, Social Club members can currently procure a free community unlock item namely Chicago Piano machine gun.
The Badge Pursuit Challenge has been priced at 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 89) and 160 Microsoft Points whereas the SharpShooter and Broderick detective suits are out for 0.99 USD (approx. Rs. 44) and 80 MSP. All the four cases dubbed ‘The Naked City,’ ‘A Slip of the Tongue,’ ‘Nicholson Electroplating’ and ‘Reefer Madness’ come with a price tag of 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 179) and 320 MSP each. The L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass will be available for the above mentioned limited-time price until June 14, 2011. Subsequently, players can procure it for 12 USD (approx. Rs. 538) and 960 MSP.
