The popular female video game action hero will soon make a comeback with a new adventure. Well, Lara Croft will capture video game screens again as she embarks on a fresh voyage with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Now, Crystal Dynamics has revealed that the title’s Premium Theme and Avatar apparel will soon make their way to the Xbox Live Marketplace.
The latest installment from the Tomb Raider series is touted to be the first isometric co-operative escapade where players will step into the boots of either Lara Croft or Totec. The title will bring our female hero together with Totec who has been dubbed as the Guardian of Light. The duo will take on the ancient evil Xolotl who is intimidating to thrust the world in an unpleasant and ceaseless period of darkness.
Those who cannot wait for the game to release can head to the Xbox Live Marketplace and lay their hands on the Lara Croft gear in a couple of days. Players can modify their Xbox Live Avatar by choosing from the varied themed outfits and accessories from the game. The collection incorporates the leading characters’ apparel including Croft’s shorts and Totec’s battledress.
To customize one’s console, players can procure the premium theme namely the Lava Tomb from Xbox Live. This haunting theme will wrap the gaming console in designs manifesting Xolotl and his minions. The Lava Tomb is now available for download on the Xbox Live.
Before Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light reaches the Xbox 360 on August 18, 2010, gamers can purchase its apparel from the Xbox Live Marketplace in the range of 40 to 140 Microsoft Points from July 29 this year. The Premium Theme is available for 240 Microsoft Points while the new title will cost 1200 Microsoft Points.
