Live-Action Film Prequel to Alan Wake, Bright Falls Revealed

Alan Wake is the upcoming thriller video game from Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360. Now it has been revealed that ‘Bright Falls’, a six-part live action series will serve as a prequel to all the mystery in Alan Wake. Each episode has been designed to keep you on the edge of your seat and build up the anticipation. The series has been shot on location in Oregon and is directed by Philip Van. It also features actors including Tom Noonan and Cooper Huckabee.

The first two episodes will be available for viewing only on Xbox Live on April 30, 2010. These two episodes will then make their debut at brightfalls.com on May 4, 2010. New episodes will be released on May 8, 2010 and May 14, 2010 before the final two episodes shock you on May 18, 2010.

Alan Wake’s quest to unravel the mystery officially kicks off in Europe on May 14, 2010. A Bright Falls Bonus Pack is available now by pre-ordering the game from participating retailers. A Limited Collector’s Edition is the ultimate Alan Wake collection for the ultimate fan. It comes with a hardcover novel and special bonus content.

Alan Wake is developed by Remedy Entertainment and is exclusively for the Xbox 360. The game throws players into a world with extremely realistic and interactive environments.
