Dark Void is the third person sci-fi action-adventure game from Capcom, which we have previewed, twice. The game has been quite eagerly anticipated since it features a new vertical cover gameplay system. Well, now Capcom has announced that Dark Void has shipped to North American retailers for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.
The game sees Will, a pilot trapped inside what is known as the Void, as he goes up against mysterious creatures called Watchers. He soon finds himself helping the human rebel group called the Survivors, battle against the Watchers to prevent them from destroying the Earth.
Dark Void blends fast-paced ground combat with aerial dog-fighting. Will has a jetpack to help him with that. But he must also watch out for enemies above and below him, thanks to the game’s unique vertical combat system.
Dark Void is available at a suggested retail price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,760) for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,840) for the PC.
