Aksys Games has revealed that Bit.Trip Fate will be available later this month for gamers across North America. Back with the popular CommanderVideo, this new title in the franchise has been touted to be an on-rails side-scrolling shooting action game. With some help from friends, the lead character can fight back the evil Mingrawn Timbletot who is said to have transformed the world into an outlandish technological landscape.

In the game, players will need to destroy rivals with their blasters using the Wii Remote while the Nunchuk comes handy for guiding CommanderVideo. On their way to foiling Timbletot’s plans, they can gather power-ups for seeking aid from peers which enables them to obtain dynamic shot upgrades. Featuring single player and multiplayer modes, the title allows gamers to join hands with characters such as Junior Melchkin, CommandergirlVideo and others for restoring peace on the planet.

The soundtrack of the game has been designed to render chiptune-inspired dubstep acoustics. The title will also feature special guest appearances by Super Meat Boy, Mr. Robotune and Chipmusic artist Minusbaby. Unfolding vivid gameplay, this title has been referred to as the penultimate installment in the series.

Releasing on October 25, 2010, Bit.Trip Fate will be unleashed exclusively on the WiiWare service.
