Final Flight: Double Impact Finally Launches

There has been a lot of excitement surrounding the unveiling of Final Flight: Double Impact since November last year. As March dawned upon us, the highly awaited release dates and pricing details we revealed. Now Final Flight: Double Impact is finally here and can be acquired from the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The offering is a digital pack that includes two Capcom classics namely Final Fight and Magic Sword.

Final Flight: Double Impact

Final Fight sees three brave heroes namely Cody, Guy and Haggar fighting through hoards of criminals in order to rescue Haggar’s daughter from the evil Mad Gear. Each character possesses their own unique ability which comes in handy while traversing through 6 action-packed stages. Guy and Cody are also the new inclusions into the upcoming Super Street Fighter IV.

The other classic in the title is the side-scrolling Magic Sword where players can adorn the role of a brave warrior. They must defeat the evil forces residing within an ancient tower as well as finally come face to face with the dark lord Drokmar. Along the way, the hero is assisted by eight allies, each with their own talent and skill. Both the titles boast of Capcom’s proprietary graphics engine and hence gamers can enjoy all the slashing and hacking in crisp HD. Those who prefer the classic feel can opt for the same which will allow them to play the titles in its original format.

Thanks to the inclusion of GGPO network technology, a frame-accurate arcade experience is achieved over the internet. Players can conduct online voice chats and even join games in progress. The open invite system allows other players to jump into the game at any time. The Leaderboards track scores for both Final Fight and Magic Sword.

Final Flight: Double Impact also offers trophies and achievements that are acquired once certain key goals are completed. The games feature a Vault mode which houses collectable art pieces. Some of the special extras comprise of full motion video, original game art, fan-art and manga chapters from Udon. Besides the orginal music, gamers can also experience a foot-tapping soundtrack composed by the same team who was responsible for the score of Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Final Flight: Double Impact is priced at 800 Microsoft Points and $9.99 (approx. Rs.445) for the Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively.
