TimeGate Announces Section 8: Prejudice at an Attractive Download Price

TimeGate Studios seems to be doing something for its new triple-A video game title that has never been done before. Section 8: Prejudice, a sequel to Section 8, will be released for a ridiculously low price exclusively as a digital download for Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.

Section 8: Prejudice

Section 8: Prejudice is a science-fiction themed first-person shooter featuring a brand new story-driven single-player campaign which spans over five long-lasting hours as well as a new four player co-op game mode, Swarm. An online multiplayer allowing 32 players to pit against each other in numerous maps is also included in Prejudice. All the modes and contents will be playable offline as the game delivers full bot support.

“We’re challenging the notion of just how much quality and value we can pack into a digital download first-person shooter,” elucidated Adel Chaveleh, CEO of TimeGate Studios. “Our target is very simply to be the highest quality, best value digital FPS on the market. Prejudice is a full-retail-scoped product, so I’m sure our fans will be very happy with our price-point decision.”

Moreover, it has also been reported that TimeGate Studios will greatly support the community with ”˜a substantial downloadable content plan’ expanding Prejudice in the future. The title appears to have what typical full-priced FPS games boast of, but with a price which will largely lower the prevailing pricing strategies alongside alluring a bountiful of action enthusiasts.

Expected to be revealed in the first quarter of 2011, Section 8: Prejudice will be offered for 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 679) or 1200 Microsoft Points via XBLA for Xbox 360, from PSN for PS3. It can be acquired through various digital distribution portals like Games for Windows ”“ Live on Demand and Steam for Windows PC.
