Uncharted 3 Being Worked on by Ex-Tomb Raider Developer?

Uncharted 2 has only been out for a few months and there has been constant banter regarding its sequel. Amy Hennig had confirmed that Drake’s journey would not conclude with Uncharted 2 even prior to the release of Uncharted 2. Last month, Nolan North hinted at the sequel to one of the most interactive games of 2009 and now we discovered information which shows us that an ex-Tomb Raider developer is working on what can be assumed as Uncharted 3.

Mark Botta, whose credits include The Bourne Conspiracy and Tomb Raider: Underworld and was working on another announced title now revealed to be Guardian of Light before joining Naughty Dog, is working on an unannounced title since the last month. With all the experience this guy has raked in creating the heiress of action / adventure / platforming games, we might see a few more innovative twists in the upcoming not so secret sequel to the game. There might just be a healthy dose of hand to hand close quarters combat from The Bourne Conspiracy which might be included in the next game.

Drake’s beautiful and gritty journey was a wonderful experience in Uncharted 2 which won numerous Game of the Year awards and gave us our first peek into the glorious world of how visuals could evoke the sense of touch and feeling of a real life experience. We can only imagine what the team will be able to pull off with the upcoming sequel to the game which might just surpass the current visually stunning action title which Sony plans to dish out this month.
