Second Brutal Legend DLC Pack coming next week

Brutal Legend, the game starring Jack Black already got one piece of downloadable content last month. Now EA and Double Fine Productions have announced that this December Brutal Legend will be getting another piece of downloadable content titled Hammer of Infinite Fate. The DLC includes a host of new skins, weapon upgrades, multiplayer maps and unlockable achievements.

“I’m excited about the beard, or course, and the new achievements and trophies,” stated Tim Schafer, President of Double Fine Productions. “But the thing I really can’t wait to get my hands on is that Oculus of the Lost. Using it to find the last Bound Serpent isn’t cheating, because it looks so cool on my car.”

Three new outfits will be available for Eddie Riggs, including the Mountain Man, Black Metal and Zaulia Threads. There will be four brand new paint jobs and four upgrades which players can purchase for Eddie’s car, The Deuce. The upgrades are the Oculus of the Lost, an all-seeing GPS for the world, and the Eye of Sorrow, a weapon that harnesses the power of the Sea of Black Tears to launches black projectiles of doom at your enemies, in addition to The Disgorger and the Coiling Maw.

The Brutal Legend Stage Battle multiplayer experience gets a boost with four new multiplayer maps, the Altar of Blood, Coiled Remains, Crucible of the Titans and The Amplified Cliffs. Each map is unique and features a surprise which adds a strategic twist to every battle.

The Hammer of Infinite Fate DLC will be available on December 17, 2009 on Xbox Live for 480 Microsoft Points and on the PlayStation Network for 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 230).
