Back in August 2009, Electronic Arts had revealed details about The Godfather II game and had indicated that it would be out sometime in February 2009. However, the exact date of launch was not revealed. Now EA has sent word about the released dates of The Godfather II.
Also, EA has revealed about a pre-order programme wherein gamers who pre-order The Godfather II at the participating stores internationally stand to get an exclusive crew member called as Tommy Cipolla. He will be having two specialties, compared to the one specialty that other crew members have.
Coming to the Godfather II game, gamers get to play as Don and build a powerful mob syndicate in America. EA is touting that the action game will be taking the genre of open-world to a new direction. Godfather II is also expected to have Don’s View, which will basically give you a three dimensional view of your criminal empire.
The Godfather II has been developed by the Redwood Stores studio of EA. It will be released in North America on February 24, 2009 and in Europe on February 27, 2009. The action game will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms.
