One action game that gamers were waiting for in 2008 was Bionic Commando from Capcom. However, they were disappointed as later it was revealed that the action game was delayed to the early part of 2009. However, there was more confusion yesterday about the release date of Bionic Commando as the listing apparently indicated it as winter 2009.
However, it seems that Capcom has clarified the uncertainty related to the release of Bionic Commando. Gaming blog Kotaku is reporting that Capcom told them Bionic Commando is expected in the first six months of 2009. Capcom said, “We are slow to update our press site. It is just the first six months of 2009 at the moment. Definitely not the latter Winter.”
In fact, this was also confirmed by Ben Judd, who is the producer of Bionic Commando. Judd indicated that the game will be out before the winter season of this year. Bionic Commando is being made by Swedish developers GRIN and will be published by Capcom. The action game will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
