Sega have announced that they will release Iron Man 2 the videogame in 2010, to coincide with the second Iron Man movie, as a continuation of their partnership with Marvel Entertainment. Sega had also released the first Iron Man video game along with the first Iron Man movie in 2008.
“We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project,” exclaimed Simon Jeffery, President of SEGA of America. “SEGA and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience.”
Sega Studios in San Francisco is working on the Iron Man 2 game and Sega is refining its game engine. The improved game engine will bring a richer gaming experience with enhanced gameplay. Iron Man 2 is an action game developed by Sega Studios USA and published by Sega. The game will be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PSP, Nintendo DS and Wii.
