Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo Coming this Week

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a highly anticipated stealth action title being developed by Rocksteady Studios. Now we have word that the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Games for Windows Live will be published this week in the UK by Eidos Interactive. The demo will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for the Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation Network for the PS3.

The demo starts off with Batman and Commissioner Gordon locking up the Joker once again into the famed Arkham Asylum. The devious Joker turns the tables and springs the occupants of Arkham Asylum on Batman. Fans get a small view into the stealth feel of the Invisible Predator mechanic, the FreeFlow combat system and a chance to peek into the mind of the World’s Greatest Detective. The demo also features character bios which can be unlocked.

Batman: Arkham Asylum takes players into the deep corners of Gotham’s psychiatric facility for the criminally insane, and features stunning graphics. Gamers can build up the fear in the minds of their enemies as they use the darkness to their advantage, sneaking around foes. The game will take players face to face with some of Gotham City’s most infamous villains including The Joker, Bane, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Killer Croc.

The Batman: Arkham Asylum demo is scheduled to hit on Friday, August 7, 2009. The full game will release on August 28, 2009. Prices for the demo have been revealed.
