Duke Nukem is the series of video games dating back to the days of MS-DOS, the first of which was released in 1991. And ShackNews is reporting that the official Facebook page for Duke Nukem has been updated with a screenshot labeled ‘D-Day’. This has sparked rumours that another title under the Duke Nukem IP is in development called Duke Nukem: D-Day.
On the Facebook account, the action hero himself teases “Duke Nukem doesn’t stay down for long”. The above screenshot was also posted. It appears to be a screen of the game in which a helmeted character is shooting at a really huge monster, standing in what seems to be some sort of stadium. This seems a little similar to the Duke Nukem Forever footage leaked in May this year.
We’re not sure if D-Day is even a new game or some kind of promotion or a new name for any one of the Duke Nukem games still awaiting a release date.
