Millions of Amir Khan fans remembered December 25, 2008. Why? Well, that was the date, Ghajini, his latest movie was going to be released. So like Hollywood do Indian movie fans also expect games based on Bollywood movies? We have been hearing from a long time that a game based on Ghajini would be launched soon.
Now Eros International and FXLabs have sent word that Ghajini: The Game, a video game based on the movie has been launched. What can gamers can expect from the Ghajini game? It will feature recreated movie locations along with scenes in the 3D world. Gamers will play as Sanjay (portrayed by Amir Khan in Ghajini) in the third person action game.
Sashi Reddi is the founder and chief executive officer of FXLabs. Reddy had this to say about the Ghajini game:
“We are excited to launch this technologically advanced 3D PC game based on a major Bollywood movie. Our aim is to extend the movie experience through our game to all Ghajini fans globally and we are excited to have had the occasion to work with one of Bollywood’s finest actors and stars, Aamir khan on this project.”
Ghajini: The Game is available at all leading stores and will be distributed in Indian and international markets by Eros. FXLabs have touted that gamers will get a first hand experience of the protagonist. But let’s hope that the Ghajini game goes a step beyond Dhoom 2 and Agni.
