The last few years has seen a lot of shooter games, some have been first person shooters while some have been titles that belong to the genre of third person shooters. But rarely have they remade any good old run and gun games. Now it has emerged that a remake of Alien Breed is on its way.
Now gaming news blog VG247 is reporting that developers Team17 has confirmed to them that an Alien Breed remake will be out in 2009. However, gamers will have to wait for further details. All they revealed was official logo of the Alien Breed remake. Alien Breed was first released for the Commodore Amiga in 1991 and then it made its way to the MS-DOS platform two years later.
Team17 are based in the United Kingdom and have previously worked on games such as Worms and Superfrog. There is still no information about the platforms on which Alien Breed would be released.
