Two years ago, Eidos Interactive published a third person shooter game called as Just Cause. The game was released for the PS2, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. Though the sandbox title got mixed reviews from the publications, Eidos still announced a sequel earlier this year.
Just Cause 2 was scheduled to release later this year. But now it has emerged that the game has been delayed. Gaming news website Eurogamer.net is reporting that Eidos Interactive has told them that Just Cause 2 has been delayed and will now release in 2009. The publishers did not give any specific reasons for the delay.
Just Cause 2 has been developed by Avalanche Studios, the same people who worked on the first game. The shooter will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms. Just Cause 2 is expected to have new features and gamers can look forward to a new targeting system. The enemy AI is also reworked.
