As the launch date of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots nears, gamers are getting more and more excited and are looking forward to new developments. Well, that is what they are getting! Lots of rumors about the Metal Gear franchise have sprung up on the internet.
A prominent Russian video games website is reporting that a new Metal Gear game would find its way to Sony’s handheld gaming console. The game is called as Metal Gear 3: Revolver Ocelot. It is set between the events that take place in MGS: Portable Ops and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Revolver Ocelot will also have some scenes from the original Metal Gear. Sony is expected to make announce Metal Gear 3: Revolver Ocelot for the PSP at this year’s E3.
The other rumor has something to do with the PSone classic MGS. There are speculations that Metal Gear Solid could be available on the Xbox Live Arcade. The rumors emerged after the game was up on the Xbox Live for debug consoles, which is known as the Partnernet service. There is no confirmation yet from Sony or Konami.
