Sometime ago, we had posted about the postponement of the release date of Microsoft’s driving game, Forza Motorsport 2. Microsoft has now confirmed this and has stated that the game will release in May 2007. They also revealed the twelve tracks that will be featured in the game.

Che Chou, Forza Motorsport 2 Community manager quoted, “Our schedule right now has us hitting Xbox certification around the middle of April and going gold soon afterwards . We want them to put the game on shelves as soon and fast as they can humanly muster. So optimistic estimates have us at retail in the first half of May — obviously the sooner the better and that’s our goal.”
Gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of Forza Motorsport 2 as Gran Turismo 5 has been delayed. There is a possibility that Microsoft could release a trailer for Forza Motorsport 2 on Xbox Live.
