Sony Computer Entertainment’s Phil Harrison has indicated that the hit PS3 shooter, Resistance: Fall of Man will get new content in April 2007. Harrison is the worldwide studios president of Sony.
He said, “We’re going to release additional content for Resistance. I do not think we have gone into detail on the schedule, but we have some really, really cool things that will be extending the story, extending the locations, some brand new content, starting in April. So if that works well and is well-received by the audience, then that will keep the engagement with game going between now and should there be a sequel at some point in the future”
Phil Harrison has also pointed towards a sequel in the future, just like Gears of War. The details of the new content for Resistance: Fall of Man will be out later, but it is not clear whether there will be new multiplayer maps or new content for the single-player.
