Books and gamers may not go hand in hand, but that has not deterred the publishers of Mass Effect: Revelation, a book on the forthcoming video game. The novel is the first in the two book series that is based on the Mass Effect game by BioWare. This one follows the adventures of David Anderson, a war hero who is investigating the downfall of a top-secret military base. He is accompanied by a deceitful alien agent and chased by a relentless assassin.
Mass Effect: Revelation will be published by Del Rey Books in May 2007. The books have been authored by Drew Karpyshun, lead writer for BioWare on Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Click here to head to see a video of the Mass Effect gameplay.
But I think, all games should have books accompanying them as there are gamers who read and it would be great to see a novel on GTA or Resistance: Fall of Man.
