A few weeks back, we had reported that a sequel to the immensely popular Godfather game could be on its way. Gamasutra is reporting that Electronic Arts’ Frank Gibeau has acknowledged about Godfather 2 at an Electronic Arts (EA) shareholders meet where he was asked about how EA deals with more mature, edgier titles.
Frank Gibeau is the head of EA Games. He responded by saying, “The appeal of those types of games is growing as the demographics start to open up for that older demographic. We make products like Godfather 2, Army of Two, Crysis, a lot of products that appeal to that older customer.”
Analysts have been speculating about the Godfather 2 for a long time now. And why not, the original game did very well. However, Electronic Arts has not officially released more details regarding the gameplay or the platforms that Godfather 2 will come on. Keep watching this space for more details.
