New Snatcher Project Confirmed by Suda

Famitsu is reporting that Goichi Suda, who is the President of the independent gaming studio Grasshopper Manufacture, has revealed that the Project-S will be a series of projects, which will be based on Hideo Kojima’s cyberpunk adventure game Snatcher.

Goichi Suda said, “I think I will call it ‘Snatchers’. I cannot talk about the details of the story at this point.”

Goichi Suda, who is also known by the nickname Suda 51, confirmed that the first project would be a radio drama written by him. He is planning to star as one of the drama’s voice actors. However, Suda has not revealed any more details about the format of the forthcoming game.

Snatcher was first released in Japan for the NEC PC-8801 and MSX2 in 1988. The game was remade for the PC-Engine in 1992 and ported to the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn in 1996. Keep watching this space for more details.
