A few weeks ago, we had reported that Halo 3 could release in September 2007. Now, Microsoft and Bungie have announced that the game will release on September 25, 2007 in the USA and on September 26, 2007 in the UK.
Peter Moore, Corporate VP, Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business says, “Halo 3 is much more than a video game release; it’s the biggest entertainment event of the year. At launch we intend to deliver a finale that will go down in entertainment history and leave people around the world with an experience that will be shared and enjoyed for years to come.”
Halo 3 will have three editions, Standard, Limited and Legendary. The Halo 3 Beta just went live a few hours ago. However, gamers who downloaded the games using the Crackdown keys faced some problems. But Bungie has now sent word that they have released a small patch, which has solved the issue.
As for the India launch, we had taken an exclusive interview with Mohit Anand, the Country Head of Microsoft India. He had said that Halo 3 would be launched in India, the same time it hits the stores in the rest of the world. So we will be getting the game by September 26, 2006!
