Lots of action games have been made into movies and a film based on Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is eagerly awaited. Now Times Online is reporting that Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton could play the lead roles in the Kane & Lynch movie. The actors have previously worked in Bandits.
The storyline of the game revolves around two escapees from death row, one is a flawed mercenary while the other is a medicated psychopath. The script of the Kane & Lynch movie has been written by Kyle Ward, who has earlier worked on Fiasco Heights. Earlier this year independent studios Lionsgate had bought the rights from Eidos.
There is no information on the release dates of the Kane & Lynch movie nor have they mentioned anything about the person who will direct the film. This is not the first time that a game from the Eidos stable has been made into a movie. One of their most famous games, Lara Croft has been made into a successful movie franchise but the only thing was that hardcore fans of the video game were not too happy about the movies.
