Lost Planet for PC Confirmed by Capcom

Yeah, it will come on the PC! Capcom has officially announced that they will release the Xbox 360 hit, Lost Planet for the PC. The game is expected to support DirectX9 and DirectX10.

The PC version of Lost Planet will feature improved graphics and effects to optimize the realistic presentation and explosive action in the game. It will have better shadows and more detailed textures, as well as higher monitor resolutions. Also, Lost Planet for PC will contain a new lobby interface that has been adapted for the system.

Gamers will have the alternative to play either using a mouse and keyboard or a gamepad controller. Capcom will also collaborate with NVIDIA on their “The Way It’s Meant To Be Played” program to display the unbelievable gaming experience that customers can expect with a PC equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics processors.

Capcom has stated that the PC version of Lost Planet will be cheaper than the Xbox 360 version. It has been priced at $39.99 (approx. Rs. 1750). The game is expected to release in June 2007 and Capcom could come out with a demo version next month.
