E3 2007: MGS 4 in 2008, Kojima Speaks About Retirement, Again!

Yes, It is finally up! Konami and Sony finally released the new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer that revealed more details about Hideo Kojima’s masterpiece for the PS3. The game will feature an older Solid Snake who has been charged with infiltrating a number of key locations across the globe, including the Middle East and South America. Check out the trailer:

However, besides the new trailer of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, there was something else that was more interesting! Konami’s Hideo Kojima came on the stage and spoke a few words. He said that initially he was thinking to skip E3 2007 as his friends had advised him that the show was downgraded and he shouldn’t really go there. However, he decided to come to the Expo anyway as he had made many friends during earlier E3s. He also spoke about his retirement, which he has done many times before, but this time it seems serious.

And yes, Metal Gear Solid 4 will be exclusive to the PS3. The game will be released simultaneously all over the world in early 2008.
