New “Infernal” Screenshots Released by Metropolis Software

Metropolis Software has released new screenshots of Infernal, their forthcoming third person action game, which was earlier titled Diabolique and was slated for a late 2006 release. However, it was delayed and the name was changed to Infernal.

    “INFERNAL” is a 3rd person action adventure that is set in a present day scenario, with dramatic environments and strong characters. The story relates to the undying clash between good and evil, confronted in supernatural intelligence agencies. The game utilizes the state-of-the-art Ageia PhysX engine that facilitates highly interactive worlds with destroyable walls and objects, while giving the player the ability to use a vast variety of objects and drive different vehicles, enhancing the overall feeling of entering a most realistic world.

    The new key character “Ryan Lennox” is much more diverse and completely symbolizes a hero with devilish powers and hotheaded manners, while never forgetting his coolness. His behavior is entirely underlined by his looks and his outfit. Ryan is a true character of his generation, enabling gamers to discover with him.

Infernal has been developed by Metropolis Software and will be published by Playlogic. The game will release for the PC in February 2007.
