Publisher Konami has confirmed that Ron Perlman will voice the Hellboy video game. He had played the Hellboy character in the movie, which is based on a comic book. The movie had become a huge hit when it was released in 2004.

- The game begins with Hellboy finding a diabolical plot for world domination and must rush to defeat the crazed Hermann von Klempt before he can wield his evil will on a hapless world. Gamers will exploit Hellboy’s large pistol (”The Samaritan”) and his supernatural power to smash, crush and demolish their way through over six unique environments that boast fully destructible environments – or join up with a friend in online co-op, choosing from Hellboy, Abe Sapien, or Liz Sherman.
Hellboy is being developed in-house by Konami and will release for the PS3, PSP and the Xbox 360 in late 2007. The movie was great, but now it would be great to play the Hellboy game!
