NinjaBee had come out with a game known as Band of Bugs for the Xbox 360 sometime back and now they’ve take it a step forward and are about to launch the PC version of this action packed strategy game. Most of the Xbox 360 gamers who had downloaded this game from the Xbox Live Arcade surely had a lot of fun playing it. Wahoo studios has said that the game will also have a downloadable version up for grabs.
About Band of Bugs PC: Band of Bugs is an extremely action packed and strategy oriented game that is quite popular with experienced gamers. NinjaBee also designed the game to be accessible and appealing to those who are not very familiar with the strategy genre by making the gameplay quite simple yet fun. In addition to the story-based campaign, gamers can play stand-alone missions and online multiplayer battles. The game also features an innovative map editor which allows players to unleash their creativity and design their own maps to play and share with their friends. The number of levels in the game is only limited by each player’s creativity. Band of bugs PC features: You can choose to follow the adventures of Maal in the story based Campaign mode as he protects his kingdom from evil insect armies with his select band of bug warriors or you can choose to play the skirmish mode where you can choose any party in the battle. The multiplayer mode includes 5 different scenarios like the Elimination round where the first team to lose every bug loses the battle, like Capture – wherein you have to defend or attack a strongpoint, Escape – get to an escape point or keep the enemy away from that point, Mission which has its own unique story and goals and Spider Hunter which is a more relaxed scenario that allows upto 8 people to join and leave as the choose.
The game doesn’t require a very high PC configuration, just the basics, like a Windows XP or Vista operating system, a 128 MB RAM, 800 Mhz of CPU speed and a 32Mb Graphics card.
NinjaBee has lowered the price of select PC games to $14.95 (approx. Rs.590). Now the full versions of both Band of Bugs and Outpost Kaloki can be purchased on NinjaBee.com for less than most other downloadable games. As always, a trial download of the game is free.
