Just a few months ago, Lionhead Studios celebrated its tenth year of presence by releasing details about their sequel to Fable. Aptly titled as Fable 2, the action role playing game, will be out next year most probably. Eurogamer is reporting that Peter Molyneux has indicated that Fable 2 for the Xbox 360 will be out in late 2008.
In a live chat, Peter Molyneux said, “Late 2008. Maybe when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge – but are still on the trees, if you see what I mean. We are working on a title now which is kind of a hybrid of Dimitri. I am really, really pushing the powers-that-be to allow me to tell/show the world this new project. I know I am prone to say things like ‘great’, ‘revolutionary’ and ‘ambitious’, but this new project its absolutely great, revolutionary and ambitious!”
Molyneux also spoke about Nintendo DS and it seems that he is interested in making simulation and God games for Nintendo’s handheld console. He mentioned that the game he enjoyed the most in 2007 was BioShock (no surprises here!) as he liked the environment and story of the game.
