GTA: San Andreas The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigation into Take-Two Interactive has finally and formally ended after a year. Take-Two was let-off without any fine.

Take-Two CEO Paul Eibler who said that the company was “very pleased” added, “We recognize the importance of maintaining public confidence in the Entertainment Software Rating Board rating system and helping the ESRB educate parents and consumers about the rating system. We look forward to putting this behind us and focusing on what we do best–creating video game.”

Take-Two has committed to not feigning a game’s rating or content descriptors. It also must set up a classification system to guarantee that all game content is reviewed by the publisher in association with a game’s submission to the ESRB. FTC did caution the publisher that if it breaches the terms of its agreement in the future, it would carry a fine of $11,000 per violation.
