Activision has announced the release of the highly awaited Call of Duty 3, the latest edition of one of the most popular war games in recent times.

Gamers will now be able to participate in legendary World War II Normandy Breakout campaign, which war that paved the way for the liberation of Paris and the fall of Nazi-occupied Europe. Here, players will challenge German forces from four allied sides through single or multi-player missions.
Call of Duty 3 uses a new physics engine to deliver a living battlefield where blades of grass can be seen trampled beneath tanks and soldiers’ feet. Battle Actions requires players to engage in life-or-death, hand-to-hand combat with enemies, plant explosives and fire mortars.
Developers of Call of Duty 3 promise to deliver the most authentic World War II experience to hardcore gamers till date.
Call of Duty 3 is available for the Xbox 360 at retail price of £49.99, as well as both the Xbox and the PlayStation 2 for a suggested retail price of £34.99.
