7 Reasons To Buy Tom Clancy’s EndWar

To all readers, this article may be a window to peep in Tom Clancy’s EndWar and in its creator’s vision. I have a few reasons to say one should buy the game and I would give you about 7 reasons which I think would support your decision of buying the game. Let us began with the basics of the game one by one.

EndWar

Let us first understand the story of the game in order to understand Tom Clancy’s EndWar as a whole and what you would experience while playing.

Reason 1:

In today’s world the two powers that dominate the world and its economy are oil and nuclear power. This is the base for the game’s story line. The one who dominates these powers becomes supreme and the un-crowned king of the world. Tom Clancy’s EndWar is based on these two powers where nuclear power has been abolished by satellites which would destroy any nuclear missile launch.

The world is in 2016 where Russia dominates the world with the highest production of oil and re-establishes itself as the superpower. By 2020, US is on the verge of making an orbital military base which will upset the balance of power that gets destroyed by terrorist attack and leads to the beginning of war. Do remember the story line is much broader and bigger and I am just summing it up here in few words.

Reason 2:

Tom Clancy’s EndWar is not about the end of war but the last war to decide the supreme power. So all in all, the story is now known to you. Going further Tom Clancy is one of the reasons why many people would buy the game. As mentioned above, the game’s story line is not about one person or a military hero who is with a cause to kill bad guy or take revenge. The game is an odd one in the Tom Clancy series as this is nothing that you have played under this title so far.

Reason 3:

Voice commands: When I start playing a game a few things I do when I begin are setup the video and audio settings. Define controls and eventually choose the player as per my wish. However this game defeated me in a lot many aspects. Tom Clancy’s EndWar is voice controlled and hence it is important that you have a high quality headset and microphone.

In any given situation, during the gameplay you are to give pre-defined commands to your units to accomplish the desired task with minimum causality. Example: Unit one- Attack hostile four or deploy gun ships etc. You would not have the need to take a pen and paper and write them and mug them up. All you need to do is to look on the screen and it will give you a list of all possible commands and you have to choose one of them based on the strategy you wish to follow.

The problem that I faced during the game play is that the microphone would grab the noise and external sounds and would affect my capability to give commands to the squads. So make sure that there is no external noise or you play in extreme silence zone because external noise may not give you the optimum game experience and a low quality microphone will ruin your experience as well you may end up losing the game.

Reason 4:

Game: I have been a player for a balanced warfare so I choose attack and defensive stance in all the objectives, but that varies for you as player. The title brings with it a variety of situations where tactical warfare needs to be practiced and the surroundings need to be used to have minimum causality.

You have to be close to your squad every time in order to make the situation easy going. The game has a balanced weaponry available, which does not impact whom do you choose as the player. In Tom Clancy’s EndWar, all strategical points are called uplinks and the tug of war to acquire one from the defending player is close and tight. Some are easy to acquire and hard to maintain and some are hard to acquire.

The creators have kept a close look on the balance of the games as you move from level to level. The game lacks effective narration during game play at various places, however, it has a lot of messages popping in to achieve the objective at hand. You will get to control multiple units in the entire game and hence you have to be more active and focused on all fronts. You can’t afford to lose your post or uplink as mentioned above to your enemy just because you could not focus on multiple fronts at the same time.

During the game you would use multiple weapons and you need to be very careful as to what to use and when. You may not have too many missiles or rocket to launch at the enemy. Hence it is crucial that you know what to use and when because the use of your weapons would change the face of the battle in yours or your enemy’s favor.

Unlike any traditional game where you come to a point where you decide the games destiny by killing the bad guy in the end here also you would decide the fate of the game but the bad guy is not a person, you would answer the question “Who is the supreme power of the world?”.

I have a habit of not playing a game twice unless I like it very much and it has something for me when I play it again. In case of EndWar I get a feeling that I would play the game again as it does gives me a change to see a variation of weapons as used by different armies in the world, strategy for attack and defense would also change as per the player I would be.

The game is 50 percent to 65 percent about your army strength and the remaining 35 percent for air force, navy, though very little on your extreme weapon system. The above mentioned numbers are my observations though it may vary by some percentage, up or down.

Reason 5:

The Visuals: Tom Clancy’s EndWar has high levels of game details. Starting from nature to weapons and explosions, everything is detail oriented. I have often preferred games which are highly detailed oriented because they give a comfort zone of being realistic and hence I get engraved in the game so much that it is virtual but real for me for that time. So if you feel the same I bet on a scale of 1 to 10, you will be like 8+. This is good number for a game to score.

Reason 6:

Cameras: Tom Clancy’s EndWar gives you multiple units to control and hence you should be able to see what they see so that you can choose your attack and defense stance. Cameras give you all that you need to see and are very effective tool to swap your decision while playing. You may stop your units from attacking because you just looked that it is not the right thing. Or you saw a small troop marching towards you and you are outnumbered for an attack right now!

Reason 7:

The gaming experience as a whole is the last reason to say you should buy it. A game is actually a virtual world where you take command of a situation and make things happen in your favor. No matter whether it is a strategy, sports, action or any other type of game, you have a situation which you have to resolve or win by doing certain action. In EndWar you have to prove your power to the world in order to declare that you are the one to rule and to declare that you will not bow in front of others no matter how hard it may become.

The game gives you an ample of opportunities to command and win the battle for the nation you play for. Tom Clancy’s EndWar gives you the power to call the shots and make your path to success. It has a lot more to offer then I could describe in words because I am yet to go through the experience again to understand the intensity and relive the excitement I felt while playing.

To sum it up, here is a little something for all of the readers:

“For peace there is war… But what is war for ….?”
