Come March 6 and Xbox 360 gamers will be able to purchase the MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack which was revealed yesterday by 2K Sports. Priced at 69.99 USD, this value added bundle will be launched on the same day as the highly anticipated baseball game, and will comprise full retail versions of both the titles.
Gamers who purchase the pack, as well as those who buy the standalone version of MLB 2K12 will become eligible to compete in this year’s Perfect Game Challenge. This competition will have eight finalists battling it out in a live tournament, with the grand prize of 1 million USD going to the winner of the event. More details about it will be made available on the title’s official Facebook page.
“If you are serious about sports gaming, this offer is simply too good to pass up. Fans waiting to get their hands on MLB 2K12 will also be able to grab NBA 2K12, our greatest basketball title to date,” explained Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports.
While MLB 2K12 is slated to be released for multiple platforms in March this year, NBA 2K12 had already been outed in October last year. Available now for the PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, PC and Wii, this game has been developed by Visual Concepts. Its PS3 version features compatibility for the PS Move accessory, whereas both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 editions provide support for 3DTVs.
The MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack will hit store shelves for the Xbox 360 on March 6, 2012 with a price tag of 69.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,440).
