When one thinks of fighting games, the first title that comes to the mind is Mortal Kombat. The series is very popular and has spawned two movies. Now Midway Games sends word about Mortal Kombat: Kollection, a special collector’s edition box set for the PlayStation 2.

So what’s special about Mortal Kombat: Kollection? Well, it features three Mortal Kombat games. First up, there is Mortal Kombat: Deception that features lightning-fast, hand-to-hand and special weapons combat along with secret and returning characters. Then we have Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks that has by intense single and multi-player gameplay set between MK and MK II. Lastly, we have Mortal Kombat: Armageddon that features every character from the Mortal Kombat fighting universe.
Mortal Kombat: Kollection has been made exclusively for the PS2. It will be released in the US in September 2008, some time before the launch of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Mortal Kombat: Kollection will come with a price tag of $29.99 (approx. Rs. 1265).
