The SingStar franchise has been very popular with the gamers who own PlayStation consoles. Sony has released many variants of the game. Now Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has sent word about SingStar Country for the PS2, which will be launched next month.
SingStar Country for the PS2 features many artists including Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Faith Hill. The music game has thirty songs. SCEA has partnered with BMG Nashville for the game and country stars such as Brad Paisley, Gretchen Wilson, and Alan Jackson. SingStar Country is the first game in the series to feature artists on the cover. The game also has stars such as Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Jessica Simpson, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry and Kellie Pickler.
SingStar Country for PS2 has been developed by the London Studios of SCE, the same people who worked on SingStar Bollywood. It releases in North America on October 28, 2008. The game will be available as a stand-alone disc as well as a package that contains high-quality USB microphones.
