Publisher Kalypso Media has made it known that Tropico 4 gamers can now download the new Junta DLC on their Xbox 360 consoles via Xbox Live. This add-on will endow the title with a new building, character trait, outfit, decorative items and a mission theme.
Bunker is the name of the new building which has been introduced through the Junta DLC. This addition works like a larger and more expensive Guard Station, and moreover it does not require generals. A total of five soldiers can be occupied by this building. The new character trait, Veteran allows gamers’ avatars to carry out better battles, thus improving their militarist respect.
A new outfit for female characters also makes its way into this DLC in the form of the Dress Uniform. Furthermore, the decorative items that are included in this download comprise a guard booth, small observation tower, camouflaged ammo depot, concrete barricades and an APC. The ‘New Sparta’ mission theme will encourage gamers to build a militaristic society, which will frequently be pressured by the rebels.
The narrative of this game revolves around El Presidente who is described as a tyrannical or benevolent dictator on the island of Tropico. With the changes that are taking place in the outside world, gamers are faced with new challenges to keep Tropico under control, as their decisions will directly decide the future of this island.
The Junta DLC for Tropico 4 can now be purchased through Xbox Live at 400 Microsoft Points. The game itself is being sold by retailers at a price of 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,463) for the Xbox 360, while its PC version can be bought for 39.99 USD (approx. Rs.1,970).
