Some fifteen years ago, Bullfrog Productions came out with an isometric real-time tactical game. It was published by Electronic Arts. The shooter game was quite popular with gamers and was released on many platforms although it first graced the Commodore Amiga and PC platforms.
But that was in 1993 and it’s been a long time! Now it has emerged that EA is apparently working on a new Syndicate game. Gaming news website CVG is reporting that a source has told them that Electronic Arts will soon reveal a new game in the Syndicate series. Although no further information was revealed, gamers can expect a current generation remake of the game.
Also, there are no details regarding the platform or the release windows of the new Syndicate game. Back in the nineties, EA had released an expansion set, Syndicate: American Revolt as well as another game, Syndicate Wars. It’s becoming a trend for gaming companies to come out with current generation remakes, one major example is Bionic Commando, but the game has been delayed to 2009.
