Bejeweled is a puzzle game developed and published PopCap Games. A few months back we reported that the acclaimed casual game sold over 50 million units and is set to commemorate its 10th Birthday with a ten month long celebration. PopCap further entices fans of the casual game by glittering out Bejeweled Blitz for Windows-based PCs.
Although Bejeweled Blitz PC is seen as the 1-minute social adaptation based on Bejeweled for Facebook, it offers players much more in terms of advantages and enhancements. These include better sound and graphics, full-screen play, corresponding badges and loads of new achievements. The game also features 1 million coins with which players can acquire ‘Blitz Boosts’, score-stimulating effects and power-ups which will significantly heighten the in-game performance.

Gamers even have the ability to connect Facebook directly from the main menu. They need not open a Web browser in order to play the new PC title. Once logged into the social networking site, players can publish all their corresponding star medals and high scores. Late last year, a free Blitz update was unveiled for the iPhone and iPod Touch Bejeweled 2 game.
