The Red Alert series has been one of the most popular real-time strategy titles with the gamers. Now Electronic Arts (EA) has sent word that they will be releasing Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 on the next generation consoles and the PC platform. The game will have co-operative campaign.
Red Alert 3 has a Russian theme as the game has a story about the leadership of a doomed Soviet Union travels back in time to change history. But the time travel mission has a little problem. It generates an alternate timeline where technology has followed an entirely different evolution. World War III is impending and there is a three-way struggle between the Soviets, the Allies and the Empire of the Rising Sun. The main thing that the strategy game asks is, ‘What If?’
Chris Corry is the executive producer at EALA. He stated, “It is been too long, Fans have been waiting for a new Red Alert game for seven years, and we’re working hard to ensure its well worth the wait. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 has been developed by EA Los Angeles. The game will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC. EA has stated that they will be making announcement about the Red Alert 3 beta dates in the summer of 2008. Gamers will have to get a copy of Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath to get it. However, they have not revealed the exact dates of the launch of Red Alert 3.
