Activision Invites Gamers to Call of Duty Elite Closed Beta

Activision has achieved several milestones with its fiery FPS series namely Call of Duty. As gamers have flocked across numerous battlefield unraveled by titles in this franchise, the company is now geared up to whip up a new experience.

After unveiling its online social service, Activision has urged series’ fans to sign up for the Call of Duty Elite closed beta. The official CoD website is accepting applications from gamers for the beta. Those who wish to participate in the beta will need to fill in details such as email address, date of birth and console preference. In addition, they will need to possess a copy of Black Ops.

Supplementing multiplayer combats through various CoD games, Elite will facilitate aficionados to connect with other fans. They can also participate in tournaments and events created for all skill levels through this service. It not only keeps a track of players’ personal stats but also renders tools for improving gaming sessions. The service has been designed to enable them to access intricate intel on weapons and maps while viewing exclusive strategy videos for enhancing performance.

Applications for the Call of Duty Elite closed beta are now being accepted on the series’ official website. We’ve not yet heard of the official initiation date of the beta.
