The “summer’s off to a sizzling start” says Nintendo revealing this week’s Nintendo Downloads for the Wii which comprise of three WiiWare titles and one Virtual Console game. Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex, Voodoo Dice, and Robocalypse – Beaver Defense are available for download as WiiWare, while Wild Guns is available for the VC.
Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is from publisher Konami for one player. The Omnitrix lets players transform Ben into 10 different aliens including Big Chill, Spider Monkey and even Lodestar. The game features 15 platforming levels rife with puzzle challenges and gives players a chance to experience the world of Ben 10 with 3D characters in vibrant 2D environments. Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is available for 1000 Wii Points.
Voodoo Dice is from publisher Ubisoft for up to four players. The innovative and challenging puzzler mixes action and puzzle mechanics in a 3D world. You must solve a variety of puzzles in unique ways. The game’s funny and original universe makes an ideal setting to defeat enemies and solve enigmas. Voodoo Dice is available for 1000 Wii Points.
The last game addition for WiiWare this week is Robocalypse – Beaver Defense for one player. The game offers weaponry and destruction set in a world of battling robots and is played out in a “tower defense” style. You must create towers and position them strategically to destroy waves of enemy robots. The hilarious Story Mode awaits. Or you can try the endless pouring out of enemy robots in Survival Mode. Robocalypse – Beaver Defense is available for 600 Wii Points.
VC fans get the Super NES title Wild Guns this week. Published by Natsume this title is for one or two players. The action-packed third person shooter gives you the chance to discover the wildest West ever in which the Kid gang and their army of robots have taken over the town. Bounty hunter Clint and beautiful-but-deadly woman Annie are the only ones who can stop them, and you can play in single player or two player co-op mode. The game offers explosive special attacks and hidden power-ups. Wild Guns is available for the VC for 800 Wii Points.
