The Nintendo Download has hit again, carrying with it one title each in the WiiWare, DSiWare and Virtual Console section. As WiiWare, we have the game Gravitronix, while as DSiWare, Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon is available, and Final Fight 2 hits the Virtual console.
Gravitronix is a WiiWare title in which players must fight for their place as champion of the Gravitronix arena. The game provides the opportunity to vanquish opponents using four different projectiles, and powerful beams. Players can intercept attacks and even deflect incoming projectiles or capture them, charge them and then unleash their force onto opponents. The game has a campaign mode which can be played by teaming up with a friend. The game’s Versus mode allows up to eight players to go wild in all out battles. Gravitronix is for one to eight players and can be downloaded for 500 Wii Points.
Hitting the Virtual Console this week is Final Fight 2, originally for the Super NES. Cody and Jessica have taken a vacation and Metro City has been enjoying the peace for several years. But once again the Mad Gear Gang emerges and is out for revenge. With Guy in training out of town, the gang has captured his master Genryusai, and Genryusai’s daughter Rena. Haggar must travel the entire globe looking for Genryusai and Rena. Final Fight 2 is for one or two players and can be downloaded for 800 Wii Points.
Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon is the DSiWare title this week, and brings mythological proportions to pinball. The game features two distinct modes of play, Regular Game and Daily Game, and features mythic quests. Players can collect gifts from the 12 Olympians, and face Medusa, the Sirens and other mythological figures. Players can even enlist the help of the Oracle. Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon is from Nintendo for one player and can be purchased by redeeming 500 Nintendo DSi Points.
