Max and the Magic Marker to Arrive on Nintendo DS this Holiday Season

Max and the Magic Marker, an indie platformer released early last year will be making its way to the Nintendo DS handhelds in North America this holiday season. Fifteen levels, three worlds, challenges and more lie in store for gamers who purchase this title. It can currently be played on PC and Wii platforms.

The game features a young boy named Max and his magic marker pen which brings to life anything that he draws with it. Players control Max as well as the marker as they venture on the quest to catch a monster created by the boy using his magic pen. The game is touted to include a ‘wide range’ of problems and puzzles for gamers to solve.

This title will incorporate in it, three worlds along with fifteen ‘challenging’ levels. Unlockable content comprises of in-game challenges, secrets and rewards. A DS exclusive is the fact that gamers can use their styluses as magic markers to draw various objects throughout the game. Danish band Analogik has scored the original soundtrack for this indie title.

Max and the Magic Marker will hit shelves of North American retailers during the holiday season of 2011.
