Warner Bros., TT Games Release Lego Ninjago: The Videogame

The virtual brick-building world of Lego opened to gamers back in October last year in the form of the massively-multiplayer online game Lego Universe. While players indulged in the public offering, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment joined forces with TT Games to announce the follow-up to the Lego Battles video game. The companies now unleash Lego Ninjago: The Videogame for Nintendo DS complete with all the familiar Lego fun.

Inspired by the newly-unveiled Lego Ninjago product line-up, the highly-awaited game offers an epic story of good versus evil complete with engaging battles and Lego humor. Developed by Hellbent Games, players are called on to master the art of Spinjitzu which is noted to be a tornado-like spinning combat technique. This skill comes in handy especially while battling with new and old foes from Lego world.

“We are very pleased to launch Lego Ninjago: The Videogame based on the new Lego Ninjago toy line, as the game creates an entirely new adventure building upon what players appreciated in the first game,” stated Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games Publishing. “This real time strategy adventure gives kids of all ages a seamless interactive gaming experience complete with epic battles, Ninjas and classic Lego charm that our audience has come to expect.”

Lego Ninjago: The Videogame enables gamers to build their own Spinjitzu armies, cast magical spells to bring forth special attacks on enemies, set out ninjags on missions and even the ability to customize their Spinjitzu armies. The game is further packed with a storyline which allows players to either tap into their evil side or up hold truth and virtue by being the good guy through single-player campaigns.

Various Battle Mode challenges are also thrown in for testing their skills. Owners of the Nintendo portable gaming device can challenge friends in local wireless DS multiplayer showdowns as villainous Skulkins, heroic Ninjas or any of the bonus hidden hero characters.
