Classic Games Added into Nintendo eShop

The Nintendo eShop we reckon is apparently receiving quite some criticism ever since its inception last month due to lack of new content. Recent unveilings by Nintendo are seemingly looking to invoke more interest among classic game fans. The Nintendo eShop this week will include games like Fortified Zone as well as a free version of 3D Classics Excitebike.

3D Classics Excitebike

The Game Boy classic, Fortified Zone involves two characters and various stages to complete in order to stop the enemies who are creating a powerful secret weapon. 3D Classics Excitebike is the new version of the 1984 NES title which is re-mastered for the 3DS.

A new Pokedex 3D application which allows users to see each Pokemon in 3D with animated motion and sound is also available free on the eShop. It includes more than 150 creatures from the Pokemon Black and Pokemon White versions of the game. Puzzle Fever is another game which makes an eShop entry this week.

The Wii Shop Channel too receives an update in the form of Anima Ark of Sinners which can be bought for 1,000 Wii Points. While 3D Classics Excitebike and the Pokedex 3D application will be available for free on the Nintendo eShop, Puzzle Fever will be priced at 5 Euros (approx Rs. 321).
